Leverage your role
The following presentations provide an outline on what PrepareRI can mean for your role.
What does prepare ri mean for schools?
PrepareRI aims to create a K-12 education system that is aligned with the demands of colleges and employers. Making this goal a reality involves coordinated effort from teachers, school leaders, superintendents, and all stakeholders in Rhode Island's education system.
Here are some ways this is happening:
Elementary and middle school students have access to career exploration programming.
All students will have a personalized Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to guide their coursework throughout their K-12 experience.
Career and technical education (CTE) has expanded and aligned to high-demand industries.
All high school students have access to a high-quality work-based learning experience.
All high school students are able to graduate with postsecondary credit (this postsecondary credit could be a college credit or an industry credential).
